I had gotten Jay to keep
Nikki company, way back when I first
started with rats. She was out of a
pull out bin from SuperPets. It was
my last time in the store. She was
always a sweetie and in pretty decent
health considering her beginnings.
When Nikki passed I had given Jay to a
good friend, where she lived happily as a
pet for a fourth grade class. My
friend had brought her back to me to treat
a reoccurring cyst, and through that time
together I found several tumors. It
was decided that Jay would spend her
remaining days with me. I only wish
that those days had been longer. I
decided to help her on her journey to the
bridge when her health declined
dramatically one weekend.
Goodbye little sweetheart, I always
loved you.
