I lost Zuli and her unborn litter today.  She was two days overdue and began experiencing complications (bleeding and acting lethargic) this morning.  An X-ray at the vet showed that there wasn't anybody stuck in the birth canal.  She was given a shot of Oxytocin and placed in an incubator to warm her up.  Due to her shocky condition she was not a candidate for surgery.   An hour later she wasn't showing any improvement so she was given another dose of Oxytocin.  Her condition was deteriorating and I made the decision to put her down.

Not only did I loose one of my favorite girls, I lost her children...  This is so heartbreaking.
